Bob Hanss

In his 35-year career, Bob Hanss has been commissioned by distinguished landscape architects and designers to manage the construction of some of the finest gardens in Massachusetts, including historic Mount Auburn Cemetery in Cambridge. Many of these projects have been recognized as award-winning landscapes by both the American and Boston Societies of Landscape Architects. Bob holds a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Cornell University and is a registered landscape architect in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Bob is involved in every stage of the building process from developing the most efficient sequence of construction, to finding unique, quality plants and materials.

Mark Pattin

Prior to joining RHLC, Mark was an associate with Michael Van Valkenburgh Associates, and was responsible for design development and construction administration on a wide range of campus, public, and private projects. Mark has a degree in Horticulture and Landscape Design and a Bachelor of Science in Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University. As a project manager with RHLC, Mark’s strong design and technical background helps to ensure a project’s design intent from concept through construction.

John LaFlamme

John started working in the field doing masonry and quickly developed an affinity for hardscape construction. Working under the tutelage of some of the area’s finest artisans, he became skilled in various masonry techniques from walls to flatwork, using country fieldstone or intricate and elegant stone creations. His ability to manage a successful project through collaboration with all people involved has been a key to his success. John is familiar with every aspect of building complex projects.

John Todisco

John brings nearly 20 years experience in various aspects of landscape management. He began his career working with his father’s North Shore based irrigation business, and continued working for a large Boston-based company as a project manager responsible for many irrigation systems on Boston’s Surface Artery as well as Logan Airport. John’s focus turned to developing a stronger knowledge of landscape and horticulture including gaining knowledge and experience in turf management. John enjoys working with residential clients in all aspects of property management, and he appreciates the ever-changing industry and constantly seeks to expand his knowledge base.
